tannenboing (modern, spiral christmas tree) now available in the UK

Thursday, December 10th, 2009

Because we have received so much interest for tannenboing in the UK, we are now making available several of the remaining first-edition modern Christmas trees for sale and shipment to the UK.

The tannenboing.com website has been updated to include a paypal link which will allow UK residents to purchase an aluminum, modern, spiral Christmas tree for display in their homes or shops this year. The price of GBP 720 includes the tannenboing, shipping, insurance, duty and VAT.

It seems that UK residents are equally as thrilled with the eco-friendly nature, and the modern design of our aluminum spiral Christmas tree as we are! Thankfully, the it is a flat-pack Christmas tree, so we can send it out asap!

I hope the aluminum Christmas tree helps you have a green Christmas!

Looking for an eco friendly Christmas tree this year? Please consider tannenboing.

What makes this flat pack Christmas tree eco friendly you ask? Well let me tell you:

1)    This modern Christmas tree is made from recyclable aluminum, and some recycled aluminum (the tree is made of 52% recycled aluminum, and *48% virgin aluminum).

2)    The spiral tree is re-usable and we expect that if you store this flat pack Christmas tree away each year, it should serve as your Christmas tree year-after-year for decades.

3)    The reusable aluminum tree is a greener alternative than the plastic artificial Christmas tree. Most artificial Christmas trees are made in China from PVC (polyvinyl chloride) and metal. So there is all the badness of the PVC creation and the distance that the tree travels. Our spiral Christmas tree is made in the USA, in the Pacific Northwest so it doesn’t travel as far as the PVC trees.

I hope this information gives you a better understanding about the eco friendly nature of the tannenboing Christmas tree. I do realize that there are even greener options (such as no Christmas tree at all, putting lights on a tree outside, or using a potted, live Christmas tree). But if you are looking for a eco friendly Christmas tree alternative with a bit of pizzazz, I hope that tannenboing will fit the bill.

*The supplier informed me that to keep the integrity of the metal for the aluminum tree, I should not use more than 52% post-consumer recycled (as the paints and other materials on the recycled soda cans also end up in the recycled material).

Flat-Pack, Aluminum Christmas Tree, a Real Space Saver

Tuesday, November 24th, 2009

tannenboing, the newest flat-pack aluminum Christmas tree is modern and beautiful when suspended as a Christmas tree. When not in use, it can be packed back into its storage box, and slipped under the bed or put up in the rafters until next year. When suspended, tannenboing trees can spring to over six feet high, but when returned to the box the aluminum trees are only three-inches high! Unlike the bushy PVC artificial Christmas trees, tannenboing doesn’t have plastic branches that will get bent out of shape.

The flat-pack aspect of our aluminum Christmas tree is just one benefit. A few additional bonuses include:

- No pine needles in the carpet, socks or dog bed.
- No more wresting with Christmas tree stands.
- No sap you your clothes, carpet or hands.
- Easy clean up at the end of the season.

If you are ready to purchase a flat-pack, aluminum Christmas tree, tannenboing fits the bill. Buy now.
